3D for Kids is officially on hiatus

If it hasn’t been obvious from the lack of posts on this site, I thought I might as well make it official: the 3D for Kids workshops are on hiatus.

I plan to resume conducting 3D for Kids workshops one day, as it’s been an incredibly fun and personally satisfying endeavor. Unfortunately, my waking hours are currently maxed out with other projects and obligations, so 3D for Kids needs to be put on hold for the foreseeable future. It will return one day, I promise! I enjoy conducting workshops too much to stop entirely.

If you want to know when 3D for Kids is back up and running, please sign up for the mailing list, like on Facebook, or follow on Twitter.

If you want to see what I’m up to in the meantime, check out The Simple Carnival (website / Facebook / Twitter), where I’m wrapping up The Simple Carnival’s final album, Smitten. (If all goes well, the album will be released in early 2017.) Simultaneously, I’m directing/animating Smitten 3D, which, when it’s completed several years from now, will be a 3D blu-ray that you’ll be able to purchase. And if you want to take a look at the miscellaneous 3D computer programs/mechanical projects that I’ve made — as well as articles I’ve written for various publications — go to my technical blog at 3d.simplecarnival.com.

Thanks for your interest in 3D for Kids, and keep in touch!

Yours in depth,

Jeff Boller
